First off, these gucci dupes can do a lot to spiff up your outfit and while this straight line cardigan dresses these jeans up, that denim hat brings it right back down.

Styling is easy for me most of the time so in these posts I really want to say something like "I wanted to wear black that day and I grabbed these three pieces and vuala lol. . . Because that is genuinely what happens. But I know that if you have trouble styling things in your wardrobe, then that statement isn't very helpful. SO, The best thing to remember is: if you are happy and feel confident in what you're wearing then you will absolutely look better wearing it. It's also important to remember that no one else's opinion matters.

The most common thing I hear about my outfit choices is that a certain person loves my outfit or something I am wearing, but they "couldn't pull it off" or "only you could wear that." I am usually thinking, sure you can, you may just be worried about what people would think if you did. Although, that may be not always be the case, it could just be that it's not their style. Of course I want to look good, but I care very little about opinion if I want to wear something. . . and I think that's how everyone should be.

This black get up is kind of a trick in looking like you're put together because really who ever thinks twice if you're in black? This is easily achieved with some distressed skinnies too, and all of this appears completely basic until the mules and denim hat are in the picture. I have been spicin' up a basic wardrobe since '95, and you can too. Today, I just want you to take away that adding a little something different every once in a while feels really good, and you should be confident in the fashion choices you make. Outfit deets below!
