Cool in my Culottes

Y'all know I am a casual dresser but there comes a time when everyone needs a business casual 'fit. Something like this can really reflect your individuality while keeping it classy. With these fun pants you don't have to feel older than you are or worry about your skirt being too short for an interview, meeting, presentation or whatever! And as always, this is pretty darn comfy!

More on these pants: culottes are huge right now! You can basically find a version anywhere you look and my favorite part is that these were $20! I picked them up at Buffalo Exchange in Nashville. The black is classic and versatile, and I have loved every minute of owning them lol! Believe it or not, I even slipped them on with tennies and it was too cute. I've also got my eye on some pleated ones (I've linked some below).

This long a** cardigan is a must this season as well. It can be worn with dresses, jeans, shorts and boots too! You'll also love it through winter on lazy days by the fire (I know that seems like forever away when it's 80 degrees though) over top of your favorite jammies. . . it's that cozy!

THIS TOP: I lucked out in my aunt's closet with this sweet top. It's weird and colorful, but I had to have it! I have worn it with a black denim skirt + heeled booties, skinny jeans, and I think a boyfriend jean would rock it as well (all linked below)! It really just depends where you're going and what you're doing for how you want to style this top. 

An ankle strap pump is kind of a staple in my opinion. You never know when you might need to dress up, and it's a classic style heel that will go with almost everything in black or nude. Although, the ones I have on have a bit more edge. If you're not a heel gal, you can do a block heel or flat instead. Pumps are beautiful, but in reality I don't wear them day-to-day and because I so value comfort, I have managed to build a lot of my style avoiding heels. So, girls, I get it. However,  I do appreciate having these to spice up some outfits or bring together a business or dressy outfit. 

As you see, these pieces individually can be worn in an everyday fashion, but together they made a professional, edgy, business look! And I have linked all items (or similar) below, enjoy!
