Stripes and Sweaters
I'll just start by saying I was on the technology struggle bus last week so that's why there was nothing new on the blog or an Instagram appearance.
You guys, I will take all the criss-cross/surplice sweaters I can get. They are so cute made casual like this, or worn with an athleisure feel. You will find nothing cozier than this sweet sweater and it is such a nice weight. These Madewell jeans are without flaw (no surprise) and the quality is great. . . I have become pretty attached to them! I don't know about you all, but I really struggle to find jeans that fit just right, look just right and feel just right. So when I do, I cling to them-- these are one of those pair. I have an obsession with these shoes that just won't go away, and the good news is that Frye has made a super similar pair in this PERFECT color (which has been unavailable for a while). That means you guys can be equally obsessed now!
So, to put it all together: I have done a little tuck action here with this basic striped tee, and peeped the high-waisted jean with this surplice sweater. . . And, well, I dig it. I could wear this neutral, modern outfit (with a trendy touch) just about everyday of the week!
Anyone getting tired of the word "neutral"? . . . me too. I might make an effort to limit the use of the word, but the colors will remain! Find the details below!
