So, about a month ago, I left for class and was having to drive an hour so I slid on some leggings and tennies with an oversized, amazingly comfy cardigan (not pictured but I linked it, honestly my FAVORITE cardigan). My sister stopped in and, in awe of my sweater, said " that would be great to just wear to the grocery store." I tossed the words in my head most of the day. I sent in our sibling text that I was highly considering a "Grocery Style" clothing line, but instead (for now and probably forever) I am doing a blog post. I had never thought much about such a necessary topic but the only time anyone can get to the grocery are days that you have nothing to do. At that point you're sitting at home looking your absolute best of course-- not. BUT you don't want to be that person that rolls up in pajamas especially because you see everyone and their mother (at least for me in my hometown). So, what do you wear and how to make that cute in about 5 seconds? These are several different styles tailored to me and 'fits that you can be as fresh as the produce and comfy as a loaf of bread in while grocery shopping. Super cheesy, I know lol.

Look 1 and 2: For colder days, take a chunky sweater and front tuck into a pair of joggers. I paired these with sneakers but also looks great with slide sandals or mules. OR layer a turtleneck sweater and bomber + leggings and pack your large tote.

Look 3: On mild days and for denim lovers, tuck a tank into your jeans and layer with an open cardigan, pull it together with a stylish sneaker and done.

Look 4: In warmer weather, you can't go wrong with any shirt dress and pair it with a sneaker or sandal of any sort. Literally the simplest things that most would considered too much effort but really only two pieces. And throw that hair in a clip-- real classy.

Hair and Makeup: I wear little makeup on a daily basis, if any. But I understand that some prefer to wear it no matter what they're doing. For these purposes, girls (because you're all beautiful!), just do a light coat of foundation and a quick swipe of mascara. Hair is usually the difficult part but a larger clip, quick pony tail or messy bun would help make you look a little more put together. I usually just wear mine down but I have natural wavy hair that I am totally confident in leaving down and really don't care what people think of it. But even some days I have to take that clip-up option to tame it.

Each and every kind of detail is linked below plus other things I'd wear to the grocery (including my tinted moisturizer and mascara).
