Butterfly Top
In case you didn't know, it is nice and warm in Kentucky. So, this is a fall inspired outfit for the beautiful summer-like weather we've been having. And regardless of the season, this is a fun outfit for everyday. I am a little obsessed with this butterfly top from Madewell. This designer has got to be my style soul sister because I'm not sure how many others would appreciate the uniqueness of these colors together, especially in this style of shirt. Enough said about it though, I dig it! Each individual piece is a must-have addition to your wardrobe; particularly, this raw hem denim skirt in terms of versatility. I can't even count the times I have paired it this summer with tons of shirt and shoe options.
I'll tell you all the same as I tell everyone who *doesn't ask* for details on these shoes and the story of how they became mine. I walked into Knoxville's Dillard's, browsing their fab shoe collection and saw these from a distance. I swiftly walked to them and without looking at the size I put them on and said I had to have them. Obviously, I got the right size after that, but this is truly how much I loved them. I say it too often but I'll say it again: the comfort, y'all. These are like tennis shoe (but better) in a sandal-- and a platform sandal at that.
P.S. Peep that nice tan line. That's my version of a farmer's tan, acquired from working outside all summer. Judge away, I know it's so bad!
